Apple Cake

Gâteau aux pommes

Apple cake is an extremely easy recipe to make, I would even say that it is foolproof because it has no difficulty during its realization. Make it with your family with your children, have fun and get a soft and moist cake for a snack or dessert. Only 10 minutes of work, about 50-60 minutes of cooking and it's ready, what could be better!?

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g flour
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 60g butter
  • 3 apples
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar

PREPARATION

To prepare your apple cake, melt the butter and let it cool before anything else. If you don't want to use butter, you can use vegetable oil.

Then as with most cakes, sift some of the dry ingredients including flour, yeast and pour into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and mix well with a wooden spoon, spatula or Maryse, basically use the utensil that suits you

Then have fun making a small well in the preparation and add the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and 2 eggs. The good news with this cake is that you don't need to separate the egg yolks from the whites, or even beat the egg whites until stiff. A super easy snack to make, isn't it?

Add the milk, and the butter or oil and then mix with a mixer until you obtain a smooth dough.

Butter and flour your mold then simply pour the predation into it.

Peel the apples and cut them into quarters. Make small cubes of apples, circles or triangles, have fun as you want, we are still on a family preparation, very simple. Big pieces or small pieces? Once again, have fun doing what you like!

Add the apples to the dough and mix well. Pour into a previously buttered and floured mold and cook for 25 minutes at 160 degrees at a constant heat.

While the cake is baking, prepare the Normandy cream. This is what will make the cake soft and melting. To do this, in a small bowl, pour a little caster sugar, melted butter or oil and an egg. Mix well and set aside.

After 20 minutes of cooking, remove, cut the 2 remaining apples into quarters and arrange on the cake quite tightly then cover the Normandy cream preparation. Cook for another 30 minutes at the same temperature. Monitor the cooking, as soon as the knife blade comes out moist, the apple cake is ready! Leave to cool completely and unmold Apple Cake Enjoy your meal
